Where to Find Walk-in and Free Primary Care

Specialty Care Free Clinic cannot accept walk-in appointments. To be seen, patients must have a referral from their primary care provider.

If you do not have a primary care provider several local clinics offer walk-in and free primary care. There are several examples to the right.
​
With such a demand for specialty care, the Specialty Care Free Clinic has certain criteria on financial eligibility for our patients. To be eligible for services at the Specialty Care Free Clinic:

You must be uninsured. You cannot have Medicare (B,C,D) or Medicaid/Badgercare. This also includes: Workers Compensation, Medical Assistance, VA Benefits.​

We will accept referrals for those who are 14-18 yrs. of age. However, an appointment will be scheduled only once approved by the specialty provider.

Can I schedule an appointment?

​​We schedule appointments on a referring basis. This means we must have a referral from your primary care provider before we can schedule. If your provider is looking to refer you to our clinic they can visit this page to find our referral form.

Is there a cost to be seen at Specialty Care Free Clinic?

​We are a free clinic. There is no cost for a consultation. If our volunteer provider orders laboratory work, tests or imaging we will direct patients to the correct financial assistance.
