Every volunteer is a hero at Specialty Care Free Clinic. Our people-powered clinic is one of very few that focuses on specialty care for uninsured, low-income and minority populations.
Volunteer
Specialty Care Free Clinic is actively recruiting specialty providers (MD, DO, NP, PA, DPM, PT, OD) to donate 2-3 hours each month in order to reduce patient wait times and get much-needed care to those who need it.
We also utilize volunteer RNs, LPNs, CMAs, CNAs, EMTs, and Spanish interpreters to support patients during their appointments. At this time, we are only in need of volunteer Spanish interpreters. Please contact Specialist@scfcwi.org or call 608-827-2308 us if you are interested in volunteering.
Also, if you’re a part-time provider or recently retired with active licensure, we’d love to hear from you. Here’s a short list of our greatest specialty needs as of November 2024:
Gastroenterology (GI)
Allergy
Urology
Rheumatology
Endocrinology
Podiatry
Ophthalmology
Optometry
Nephrology
Pulmonary
We are also in need of Spanish medical interpreters

Volunteers Needed
Madison’s NBC-15 and Channel 3000 recently spotlighted the shortage of volunteer providers.
Thank you for your continuing commitment to our communities and those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford the care they need.
